NHS (Nova & Hesse-Noord Natie Stevedoring) is a stevedoring company specialised in handling conventional cargoes.

The stevedoring company is a joint venture between Nova Natie and PSA Antwerp, two companies that dispose of a global and European network and can fall back on many years of experience.

The services provided by NHS include both the landside and the waterside operations. Operational activities, in this respect, run parallel with the administrative activities (registration, arrival on quay, warehousing, loading, etc.).

With its 260 dockers and 51 employees NHS handles approximately 2.8 million tons per year.

NHS has two terminals of its own, as well as a lashing department. Furthermore, NHS also operates Coil Terminal.

At its Steel Terminal NHS disposes of a fully equipped warehouse for handling coils. Furthermore, the major European steel producers are shipping the majority of their steel products via our Steel/Coil Terminal.

In addition NHS disposes of a terminal at sixth harbourdock where other liner cargoes are being handled.  Moreover this terminal is well suited for the handling as well as (shortterm / longterm) storage (inside / outside) of project cargo / cargo with awkward dimensions.
